Congressman Don Davis highlights medical priorities and commemorates Pearl Harbor

Congressman Don Davis, representing North Carolina's 1st district since 2023, shared a series of tweets highlighting his priorities and community engagements. His posts reflect on medical treatment effectiveness, commemorate historical events, and celebrate local initiatives.

On December 6, 2024, Congressman Davis emphasized the importance of prioritizing medical treatments based on their life-saving effectiveness. He mentioned Novartis's efforts in North Carolina and globally to advance this goal. "We must always prioritize medical treatments based on their effectiveness at saving lives above all else. @Novartis is working every day in North Carolina and around the world to do just that."

The following day, December 7, 2024, he paid tribute to those who lost their lives during the attack on Pearl Harbor. He expressed a commitment to remembering the sacrifices made by servicemembers and civilians on that fateful day eighty-three years ago. "On Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, we honor the 2,403 servicemembers and civilians who were killed. Eighty-three years later, we will not forget those who made the ultimate sacrifice that day."

Also on December 7th, Congressman Davis celebrated the Nashville Farmers Market's Merry Market event as a success for local businesses and community spirit. The market featured a variety of offerings from s’mores to crafts with live music enhancing the festive atmosphere. "The Nashville Farmers Market's Merry Market was a holiday hit! From s’mores and baked goods to fresh produce, local meats, crafts, and live music... It was a day of festive fun and community support as we supported local businesses..."
