Don Davis, Congressman for North Carolina's 1st District, made several notable announcements via social media on April 1, 2025. He addressed a range of topics from military presence overseas to local educational achievements.

In a post dated April 1, 2025, Davis commented on the strategic presence of U.S. armed forces. He stated, "Ensuring the United States remains a global leader requires a steady and stable presence overseas. The over 3,000 warfighters stationed in Africa are doing just that as they valiantly defend the United States every day."

Highlighting his support for veterans, Davis shared on the same day, "Attention veterans of Oxford, NC: We will host mobile office hours to share vital information, assist with VA claims, and more." This initiative aims to facilitate easy access to essential services for military veterans.

On April 1, 2025, he also recognized the accomplishments of local students, asserting that, "The Greene Central High School band scored highest at the NC Bandmasters Association Music Performance Adjudication Concert Band Festival. Go Rams!" Through this, Davis emphasized the importance of supporting school programs and their role in community pride.
