COUNTY OF PITT: Seeking Public Input for New Land Use Plan

County of Pitt issued the following announcement on June 1.

Pitt County staff will be conducting several public visioning workshops for “Envision Pitt County 2045”, a new comprehensive land use plan that will guide future growth and development within the County.  

 The workshops will be an opportunity for members of the public to provide input on topics such as land use, transportation, housing, community character, economic development, recreation, and natural assets within Pitt County. 

The public input workshops will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on the following dates: 

  • Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at Ayden-Grifton High School
  • Thursday, June 2, 2022 at Farmville Central High School
  • Thursday, June 9, 2022 at North Pitt High School
 Additionally, an online public survey is available on the project website: www.EnvisionPittCounty2045.com.  The survey will be open through June 15, 2022.
