Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., representing North Carolina's 3rd district, recently shared a series of tweets on various topics, including education, Holocaust remembrance, and military policy. Murphy has been serving in the U.S. Congress since 2019 after replacing Walter B. Jones Jr. He has previously served in the North Carolina House of Representatives from 2015 to 2019.

On January 27, 2025, Congressman Murphy expressed his support for school choice during National School Choice Week. In his tweet, he stated: "Happy National School Choice Week, Eastern North Carolina! The quality of a child’s education should not be determined by their zip code."

Later that day, Murphy commemorated Holocaust Remembrance Day with a solemn message about the importance of remembering the past and combating antisemitism. He tweeted: "On this Holocaust Remembrance Day, we remember the 6 million innocent Jewish lives brutally taken by Nazi Germany and its collaborators. We will never forget and must always boldly confront antisemitism."

In another tweet on January 27, Murphy addressed his views on military priorities under current leadership. He criticized social justice initiatives within the military with the statement: "Our military is to fight and defend. Not protests and pronouns. Enough of the social justice programs. The era of ridiculousness is over." tagging @POTUS in his post.
