As a member of the U.S. Congress since 2023, succeeding G.K. Butterfield, Davis has been actively engaging with constituents and addressing various policy issues.

On March 13, 2025, Congressman Davis expressed his appreciation for veterans in Currituck and Camden counties through a tweet. He wrote: "We had a meaningful time with veterans in Currituck and Camden counties. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering dedication to our nation."

Later that day, he emphasized the importance of collaboration between public and private sectors to bolster the maritime industrial base. In his words: "We must collaborate to ensure that both the public and private sectors work together to find solutions that will strengthen our maritime industrial base. Shipbuilding is vital for our national security."

In another tweet on March 13, Congressman Davis announced the introduction of new legislation aimed at supporting agricultural commodities. He stated: "We are pleased to introduce H.R. 2043, the Agricultural Commodities Price Enhancement Act, which aims to increase the reference prices for seed cotton, peanuts, corn, soybeans, and wheat."
