Congressman Greg Murphy, M.D., representing North Carolina's 3rd district, has shared several messages on social media addressing community issues and regional highlights. Murphy, who succeeded Walter B. Jones Jr. in 2019, is an active voice in both local and national matters.

On March 22, 2025, Congressman Murphy highlighted the urgent need for blood donations amidst a current shortage. He urged individuals from all political affiliations to contribute to this cause: "It doesn’t matter who you are or what party you belong to. Please consider donating blood. There is a blood shortage now. It only takes an hour to save a life!"

Later that day, he celebrated Eastern North Carolina's tourism appeal by sharing recognition received by the Outer Banks as a prime vacation destination: "The beautiful beaches of Eastern North Carolina attract thousands of visitors every year, so it is no surprise that @Southern_living has named the Outer Banks as their 2025 Vacation of the Year." He emphasized its status as one of the best places in the country to visit.

In another post on March 22, 2025, Murphy informed constituents about his upcoming bi-weekly newsletter intended to keep them updated on his activities both locally and in Washington: "My bi-weekly newsletter will be sent out this Sunday! Subscribe through the link below to stay updated with the work I am doing in Eastern North Carolina and Washington."
