In another tweet posted on December 5, 2024, Davis emphasized the importance of Community Health Centers as vital resources for rural communities during emergencies. He urged Congress to approve disaster relief measures that adequately address the economic and health impacts of Hurricane Helene on North Carolina’s healthcare system. Later that day, Davis discussed national defense concerns by stressing the significance of amphibious capabilities in modern warfare. He called for swift congressional action to support domestic shipbuilding industries and ensure military readiness alongside maritime services. Working hand in hand with our maritime military services, Congress must act swiftly to shore up our domestic shipbuilding industrial base and ensure peak force readiness."
