Congressman Don Davis, representing North Carolina's 1st district, shared a series of tweets highlighting recent activities and initiatives. Davis, who succeeded G.K. Butterfield in 2023, has been active in addressing local concerns and fostering community relations.

On December 3, 2024, Congressman Davis tweeted about his team's annual staff retreat in Washington, D.C., stating: "Our team gathered in Washington, D.C., for our annual staff retreat and team development. We aligned on goals for the 119th Congress so that we could better serve the people of eastern North Carolina!"

Later that day, he expressed gratitude towards first responders and telecommunicators through an event called "Pies of Thanks." He tweeted: “‘Pies of Thanks’ was a day to express our deep gratitude and genuine appreciation for the unwavering service of our first responders and 911 telecommunicators across all 19 counties in North Carolina’s First Congressional District."

On December 4, 2024, Congressman Davis addressed agricultural issues via Twitter. He emphasized the importance of supporting agriculture in North Carolina by stating: "Agriculture is North Carolina’s leading industry. We must support crop insurance, protect our family farms, and ensure that our rural communities have the resources to thrive and live the dream down East."
