On December 8, 2024, Congressman Davis commemorated the United States' entry into World War II with a solemn tribute to the servicemembers who sacrificed their lives for democracy. He stated: "Eighty-three years ago, the United States entered World War II to protect democracy at home and abroad. We will never forget the brave servicemembers who sacrificed their lives for the cause."

On December 9, 2024, Congressman Davis highlighted progress in healthcare access following Medicaid expansion. He noted that over 95,000 patients across eastern North Carolina now have access to essential healthcare services. To further this progress, he announced his support for three bipartisan healthcare bills: "After a year of Medicaid expansion, more than 95,000 patients across eastern North Carolina now have access to lifesaving healthcare.
