Don Davis reflects on WWII anniversary and highlights Medicaid expansion

Congressman Don Davis, representing North Carolina’s 1st district, has shared a series of statements via social media reflecting on historical events and current legislative efforts. On December 8, 2024, Congressman Davis commemorated the United States' entry into World War II with a solemn tribute to the servicemembers who sacrificed their lives for democracy. Later that day, he shared his enthusiasm about recent developments in his district with a brief post: "It's been another inspiring week in the East!" The tweet was posted on December 8, 2024.

On December 9, 2024, Congressman Davis highlighted progress in healthcare access following Medicaid expansion. He noted that over 95,000 patients across eastern North Carolina now have access to essential healthcare services.
