Congressman Don Davis, representing North Carolina's 1st District, shared insights and updates through a series of tweets on January 30 and 31, 2025. The tweets highlight issues concerning rural housing, community events in agriculture, and the impactful work of a local cosmetologist.

On January 30, Davis addressed the issue of housing in rural areas. He stated that "Dilapidated housing is a growing concern for rural communities. Revitalizing these communities and delivering affordable housing will require all hands on deck."

Later that day, he commented on an event at the Greene County Farmer's Market. Davis remarked that "The Seed Swap at the Greene County Farmer's Market was terrific. It brings together the local agricultural community to exchange seeds, share resources, and connect with fellow agriculture enthusiasts."

On January 31, Davis highlighted the contributions of Natakey Owens in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He described her as "a beacon of hope and strength in her community," noting her role as a licensed cosmetologist who provides guidance beyond hairstyling by offering advice on family, faith, finances, and fitness.
