On February 6, 2025, Congressman Don Davis addressed the role of prosecutors in maintaining justice and community safety. He emphasized the need for increased funding for the Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) and support for the Crime Victims Fund. Davis stated: "Justice relies on dedicated prosecutors who enforce the law, support survivors, and ensure community safety. Later that day, at a ribbon-cutting ceremony for C & C Innovations’ AAEP Before and After School Enrichment Center in Oxford, Congressman Davis celebrated educational growth opportunities. He tweeted: "The ribbon cutting ceremony for C & C Innovations’ AAEP Before and After School Enrichment Center in Oxford marks the beginning of a new chapter in academic growth and creative exploration for students. Here’s to nurturing young minds through learning, care, and play!"

In another post on February 6th, Davis expressed concern over fentanyl-related overdoses and his support for legislative action against this issue. He wrote: "We must take immediate action to stop the influx of fentanyl coming into our communities, which is why I voted for the HALT Fentanyl Act. We cannot stand idle while so many people including children are suffering from overdoses."
