Congressman Don Davis, currently representing North Carolina's 1st district in the U.S. Congress, shared several updates via his social media account on March 5, 2025. His posts covered topics ranging from healthcare innovation to welcoming a guest chaplain and supporting veterans.

In one post, Congressman Davis highlighted the unpredictability of disease diagnoses and emphasized the importance of fostering innovation for developing new therapies. He stated, "A rare or common chronic disease diagnosis can happen at any time. By creating a level playing field for innovators, we can change the game to allow for the next generation of revolutionary therapies." This statement underscores his commitment to advancing medical research and development.

Later that day, he expressed enthusiasm about welcoming Pastor Frank Rice and his wife Genelle from Mt. Calvary FWB Church in Hookerton to Washington D.C. He announced that Pastor Rice would serve as a guest chaplain for the U.S. House by delivering the opening prayer during an upcoming legislative session. Davis encouraged followers to tune in by stating, "We are excited to welcome Pastor Frank Rice and his wife, Genelle, from Mt. Calvary FWB Church in Hookerton to Washington, D.C.! Pastor Rice will serve as the guest chaplain for the U.S. House and deliver the opening prayer for tomorrow's legislative session."

Additionally, Congressman Davis reported on a Veterans Mobile Office Hours event held in Kinston, North Carolina.
